Judges Comments:

Top four birds. Excellent variety from where you're sitting, they probably look like a cinnamon because of the definition of the markings in the wings. They're lovely mid grey. Maybe even a whisker better than mid grey, but they're mid grey, they're excellent greywings.

Cage K owned by Alan Baxter from Victoria, the bird in first place just had a little bit more across the frontal, more shoulder, and he showed quite well especially when you sit him up.

Cage F owned by Alan Baxter from Victoria, the second bird almost like a twin brother to first place, but he just didn't have the lateral feather to cover in in front of his eye,  You can see through there the old big keyhole-y look, but still a big budgerigar and an excellent variety.

Cage B owned by Alan Baxter from Victoria, the third bird just pipped the fourth bird. They're both stand-up birds. This bird has lovely cap, not as much frontal release.

Cage Q owned by J & W Weidenhofer from South Australia, The fourth bird has that frontal release, but the definition in the markings in the scapulas on the wings, it has very big scallops there, almost like opaline scallops, and that's how we differentiated between the two, but as I said at the start, the first four excellent variety birds.
