Judges Comments:

I will just say congratulations to all the exhibitors with birds in this class. It is a great achievement to represent your state and have birds up here, so really, really good.

Really strong costs across the board. Congratulations to those, especially with birds on the top bench. Some really good debt through those top dozen birds. So really, really good.

Cage O owned by Ray & German from Victoria, is an ultimate showbird. He presents in fantastic feather, full credit to the carers and the breeder of this bird. He's presented really well. He's timed to the minute. You know, he's barely got a feather out of place. He just cuts a beautiful shape in the cage. Lovely style and outline and a deportment too.  Really, really good feather quality, length of feather and the downward directional feather off this here is quite something. Granted, he's probably down a touch in spot impact that we just felt he was the most complete bird of this class and a worthy winner.

Cage A owned by A & C Druery from New South Wales, actually a greygreen hen this time. Super, super strong hen. She's just all power. The width of shoulder the width of chest, you know, she transitions well from cap through to mask. She's really thick through those ear covers when she gets up and, turns it on, she's a really impressive hen and a really strong, worthy second place getter in this class, size, and stance just carried her over third.

Cage Q owned by Michael Pace from North Queensland, is a Greygreen cock, One of the better feathered birds in the class, arguably really, really strong, nice spot impact when he gets up and chose really, really nice quality feather to him, really good exhibition bird. It was that bit extra spot impact and condition on the day that carried him over fourth.

Cape P owned by Ray Slade from Victoria, is a cock. A really strong bird, just not his day today. Condition a little down, but you've got to appreciate the width, the skull, the back skull on this bird. Really good. He's not up on the perch at the moment, but he's a really strong, complete bird. Just a bit too much spot impact carried him over the cock in fifth today.
