Judges Comments:

Nice class of birds.

Cage F owned by A & C Druery, has beautiful cap length, direction, depth of mass spots.

We'd like to see maybe a bit longer in the keel, but very, very strong budgie and worthy winner today.

Cage K owned by Shaw Family from South Queensland, is a bird with plenty of grunt about him in really, really good condition, good spa spots and depth of mass. Hasn't moved all day and a worthy bird to be in second place.

Cage R owned by R & C Ogden from North & Central Queensland, the third bird probably has the most direction of all the birds in the class. Plenty of downward direction. Feather lovely cap, really, really good shoulder, he lets himself down a bit with his spot size and just a bit of condition on the day. Another week, and he might have been right up there.

Cage I owned by John Ennis from Victoria, is a hen bird, we would like to see the wing carriage just a fraction better. But other than that, a really strong hen. Again, lovely cap feather direction. Nice length of body and a very nice bird.

Cage S owned by Alan Baxter for Victoria in 5th and Cage N owned by Craig Buckingham from New South Wales in 6th, we had a little bit of fun with 6 is a very, very good-sized birdies, plenty of bulk stands up off the perch. Beautiful spots and depth of mask. Which just got him over the bird in sixth place, which has lovely direction, not as big a bird, and unfortunately today is missing quite a few flights on one side, so therefore he had to flip back a bit in six. But overall, very nice, lot of blues, and anyone that's got one in here from whether it's 1 or 21, should be very proud to be up here and representing your state, so

Well done, there's no losers today.
