Judges Comments:

Specifically, we're looking for the symmetry, the size of the and the actual location of the crest itself. We had some fine budgerigars as well as the crest,

Cage G owned by Boal Family from South Queensland, the bird in first pricing, the white cap has a beautiful large crest central position on the bogey itself. A good size bird as well.

Cage K owned by M Brennand from Victoria, a lovely sized bird, good position symmetry and the 30 points associated with that. Those two were very dominant in that points allocation.

Cage Q owned by Doug Wales from North Queensland, a bigger bird and just the actual symmetry and the location of the crest itself, a little bit of work could have been. Maybe, I won't say too much, but I mean, it just seems to be that the actual crest itself is not position correctly in the area where it should be.

Cage C owned by Shiralee Reardon from South Australia, Cage M owned by Boal Family from South Queensland, We move down to C & M, we're starting to look at a little bit of to the left or right of the positioning of the crest itself. However, some very good length of crest, good sizing. And again, there is good positional there. We're starting to get birds with lovely crest, but the actual budgie was a little bit smaller in size. Great wing carries, good varieties and such, but just lacking that little bit of extra. And we started to get a few more tasks coming into the play, whereas the crest, the full crest and that position of the crest is paramount for this variety for judging. And as we move further down there, we could see how it was starting to drop away. And I'm not taking any credit away from the breeders.
