Judges Comments:

We'd like to compliment the breeders on the clarity that you're presenting in the cap and the crown. Very little markings there right across the board. The facial features are evident in birds right through, so, you know, they're really improving.

Cage A owned by Glenn & Lyn Ryan from South Queensland, The first bird did everything it could to defeat itself, played up and then he sat on the perch.

With both feet he had toes forward. However, he took them back. He does have a little bit of an issue in the toes now forward, but he did hold it back. Now he's showing the correct stance in both feet, an excellent budgerigar in both type and variety, the distribution of markings and colour, the percentage of spots in the wings. He is a lovely, lovely budgerigar

Cage C owned by Gary Gazzrad from New South Wales, the second bird is a little bit unfortunate. He stood up and he showed himself all day. A strong bird with strong facial features also.

Cage P owned by Glenn & Lyn Ryan from South Queensland, the hen in third, we thought was going to be up there, challenging right to the end. However, she has a slight issue with her deportment, so you don't get that nice concave down through the back line. She tends to drop her wings a little bit, lifts her rump. But have a look at the clean cap and the blow forward and the width in the feather on the front. Excellent bird. P is like a smaller version of C showed really well. It's clean. In fact, right through there you can see there's just that point or two difference.

All excellent budgerigars well done to the exhibitors.
