2026 Class 21 - Fallow ASC ASV

Judges Comments:

The Fallows were a very even class. You saw birds make a run, and even at the end we were still considering the top three birds.

Cage H owned by Alan & Chris Druery from New South Wales, what gave the winner its position was, he was sitting there all day. We believe he was showing better earlier. He's just dropped down about a centimetre at the moment. He just won't stand up like he did at the start, but we remember it. The clarity and the definition of his markings is excellent. That deep chocolate marking, he holds his flights at the cushion of the tail. He's a lovely bird with lovely flow.

Cage J owned by Alan & Chris Druery from New South Wales, the second bird is a little bit taller but doesn't have the clarity and the markings. They're very similar in the head, the nice direction of feather. Actually, I think he's showing better now, the first bird.

Cage S owned by Russell & Cheryl Odgen from North Queensland, the third bird is a big lump, doesn't quite have the direction of feather. Only because I think he's lacking a bit of condition at the moment, just sits there, he's a bit of a blob.

Cage A owned by Norm Wheatley from Western Australia, the best bird is the bird in fourth place and that was the bird we put up the front, However, even when we gave him time to relax, his wings remained crossed. There's a separation between the cushion of the tail and the end of the flights.

There's a nice long bird in sixth place. Just didn't quite have the brow of the bird in fifth.

But I'd like to congratulate. There are some lovely birds right down to 12th place. So well done the Fallow breeders.
